Pure Architects collaborated with Grand Rapids Public Schools, Fanning Howey, and JRA to convert an existing school building into a modernized learning environment for a diverse student body.

In an effort to better serve the students of SECP (Southeast Career Pathways), Grand Rapids Public Schools engaged with Pure to convert the former Sigsbee School into the new location for SECP High School.
SECP is a credit recovery program providing GRPS students with an opportunity to focus on their academics and ultimately graduate with a diploma.
Renovations included roofing upgrades, enlarged exterior windows to improve daylight access, classroom and computer lab renovations, and student lockers. Creating space for teacher collaboration and administrative functions were part of the renovations as well.
Pure Architects partnered with Fanning Howey and JRA for this project.
