THE ROLE

You will work across all phases of design and documentation, supporting programming, conceptual design, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration.

This is a hands-on architectural role offering strong mentorship, meaningful project responsibility, and opportunities for continued professional growth.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Developing programming studies, design concepts, and construction documents using digital design tools
  • Producing plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, renderings, and specifications
  • Coordinating design solutions with senior staff, consultants, and internal project teams
  • Conducting site visits to field verify existing conditions and gather project data
  • Researching building, energy, and accessibility codes to ensure compliant design solutions
  • Navigating zoning, planning, and municipal ordinances to support project feasibility and approvals
  • Preparing studies, reports, and planning diagrams to support unified design strategies
  • Supporting cost estimates, documentation, and project deliverables
  • Coordinating permit submissions with Authorities Having Jurisdiction
  • Reviewing submittals and shop drawings during Construction Administration
  • Participating in client, consultant, and contractor meetings
  • Maintaining organized project documentation and files

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor of Architecture (NAAB-accredited preferred)
  • Licensed Architect (required)
  • Minimum 3 years of licensed project experience, 8 years of experience total
  • Strong understanding of architectural design, building systems, and construction documentation
  • Knowledge of building, energy, and accessibility codes
  • Ability to support projects from early design through construction administration
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Creative problem-solver with strong visualization abilities
  • Interest in professional growth and increasing project responsibility

The Role

You will lead multiple projects from contract through construction, serving as the primary client contact and internal project leader. You’ll manage scope, schedule, budget, contracts, consultants, and staff—while maintaining quality, profitability, and strong client relationships.

This is a hands-on leadership role with direct access to firm principals and decision-making authority.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Full lifecycle project delivery leadership on a variety of projects
  • Primary client relationship management
  • Active management of project budgets, staffing plans, schedules, and profitability
  • Leading and mentoring architects, designers, and technical staff
  • Coordination of consultants and contractors through CA
  • Drafting and managing Professional Service Agreements and AIA contracts
  • Leading internal, client, and consultant meetings; setting agendas and documenting actions
  • Proactive risk management and scope control
  • Oversight of cost estimating and coordination with construction partners
  • Maintaining consistent project documentation and communication standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensed Architect (required)
  • 10+ years of project experience, 5+ of which are in project management, including leading teams and complex scopes
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (NAAB-accredited preferred)
  • Strong understanding of A/E fee structures, staffing, and project financials
  • Deep knowledge of building systems, materials, and codes
