Available Positions

Architectural Designer

In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of assignments requiring skills in aspects of architectural, interior, and urban design for projects of varying sizes. This position works with an internal project team and external consultants from conceptual design, through the submission of construction documents, and into the construction administration phase. You will be responsible for assisting with design, coordination of consultants, and detailing of assigned projects. This role will also be responsible for learning and implementing sustainable design principles on projects. You will have the opportunity to work with awesome team members at a variety of different levels allowing for mentorship, career development, and advancement.

This position requires a minimum of three (3) years of relevant and related project experience, enthusiasm for learning, and a great attitude. Detroit-based is preferred but not required.

Design Architect

The Design Architect will be responsible for guiding project teams and our clients through the entire design process, with an emphasis on programming, conceptual design, and schematic design phases. This role will also ensure the successful development and implementation of design intent within design development and construction documents. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a proven track record of preparing compelling design presentations for clients. We seek creative candidates who are passionate about design and fulfill our mission to design for good.

This position requires a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant and related project experience, enthusiasm for learning, and a great attitude. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and architectural licensure is required for this position.

Project Architect

The Project Architect takes ownership of planning and developing architectural projects varying in size and scope, working with the Director of Design and project team to navigate unique and complex challenges throughout a project. This role explores and presents proposals internally for the subject area, definition of scope, selection of items for investigation, and development of novel architecture concepts and methods to support each individual project. The Project Architect leads and coordinates all documentation associated with assigned project submittal review and site observations during bidding and construction administration.

This position requires a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant and related project experience, enthusiasm for learning, and a great attitude. Detroit-based is preferred but not required.

Senior Architect

The Senior Architect plans and develops architectural projects of all sizes, scope, and works under minimal supervision with the ability to navigate unique and/or controversial complexities. This role provides full support through the entirety of a project, acting as the SME on specialized systems to explore the subject area, definition of scope, selection of items for investigation, and development of novel architectural concepts and methods to support each project. The Senior Architect leads and coordinates all technical solutions, product strategies, and documentation associated with the project submittal review and site observations during bidding and construction administration.

This position requires a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant and related project experience, enthusiasm for learning, and a great attitude. Architectural licensure is required for this position.
