Pure Architects is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to manage the day-to-day aspects of HR at Pure Architects and support HR needs across other family businesses. The Role
You will be responsible for creating a positive, consistent employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle and serves as a primary resource for employees and leadership on HR-related matters. Your responsibilities include payroll administration, employee benefits management, recruiting, onboarding, employee records, leave administration, employee relations, compliance, performance support, and offboarding.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Collaboration with firm leadership and operations team to manage all aspects of the employee experience.
- Serve as primary point of contact for employees and leadership regarding HR-related questions, policies, benefits, payroll, leave, and other employment matters.
- Coordinating recruitment and onboarding process as well as offboarding processes.
- Processing payroll for Pure Architects and other supported businesses in accordance with established payroll schedules.
- Managing all payroll-related matters including audits, end-of-year-processing, and employee changes.
- Managing day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, retirement, and other employer-sponsored benefits.
- Administration and coordination of employee leaves of absence in accordance with applicable laws and policies.
- Serving as HR resource for employees and managers regarding workplace concerns and employment-related questions
- Supporting performance review and employee development processes via fair, consistent, and well-documented practices.
- Monitoring HR-related regulatory changes to support compliance with policy and procedural updates.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working in human resources, people operations, or similar role preferred.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar professional certification a plus.
Tools & Technical Experience
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; Paycor or similar platform experience preferred.
- Intermediate to expert experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, G Suite (Google) Gmail, Calendars, Sheets, Docs, Slides, shared drives, etc.
- Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, and payroll processes.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, as well as organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of employment practices, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll and applicable employment laws and regulations.
