Pure Architects is seeking an Architectural Designer to support the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through construction. This role is ideal for a motivated designer who enjoys hands-on project work, collaboration, and building a strong design and technical foundation within a growing firm.

THE ROLE

You will support project teams through all phases of design and documentation, contributing to planning studies, design development, construction documents, and coordination with consultants and clients.

This is a hands-on design role with opportunities for growth, mentorship, and increasing responsibility over time.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Preparing design studies, models, and construction documents using digital design tools
  • Developing plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and details
  • Researching zoning, building, energy, and accessibility codes to support compliant design solutions
  • Supporting planning and occupancy studies and project-specific analyses
  • Coordinating with project leads, consultants, and internal team members
  • Assisting with preparing permit and bidding documents and coordinating submissions with AHJs
  • Participating in client, consultant, and contractor meetings alongside senior staff
  • Conducting site visits, documentation, and field report

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (NAAB-accredited Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant architectural project experience
  • Ability to support projects from early design through construction documents
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Creative thinker with strong visualization and problem-solving abilities
  • Interest in professional growth and increased responsibility
Certifications such as LEED, LFA, and/or WELL are a plus

Tools & Technical Experience

  • Autodesk Revit
  • Enscape, SketchUp, Cove.Tool
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Bluebeam, Microsoft Office
  • Hand sketching and visualization
